               Direct rope haulage, underground mines में उपयोग होने वाला transport system है। यह haulage system का सबसे आसान तरीका है इसमे एक ड्रम surface पर install किया जाता है ओर उस पर rope लिपटा रहता है जिसमे haulage tubs लगाकर उसे mines के अंदर या बाहर संचालन किया जाता है ।

Types Of Direct Rope Haulage:-

1. Definition Of Direct Rope Haulage

 इस post में हमने Direct rope haulage system video, types, diagram, safety devices, advantages और disadvantages का pdf भी include किया है । इसे direct line haulage भी कहते है और इसका एक type, double drum direct rope haulage भी है । 

                                यह सबसे सरल type of haulage है, जिसमे एक haulage drum और एक wire rope इस्तेमाल होते हैं। wire rope का एक सिरा haulage drum पर जुड़ा रहता है, और दूसरे सिरे पर mine car या tub जोड़ी जाती है । mineral loaded tub wire rope से खींची जाती है ।

                       haulage way की gravity gradient अधिकतम 1 in 10 होती है । haulage engine incline के top सिरे पर बैठाया जाता है । इलाके में खाली टबों की आपूर्ति करने के लिए tubs या car को train rope से जोड़कर नीचे की और gravity के सहारे उतरे जाते हैं । उस समय haulage engine की power की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है । इसके लिए main track और branch track के बीच 40* का angle most efficient होता है ।

Direct Rope Haulage Applicable Conditions:-

  •  suitable for incline working 
  •  suitable for hauling coal from dip heading 
  •  suitable for the main haulage to work between fixed points

Direct Rope Haulage Important Points:- 


  • Gradient             - 1 in 10 
  • Speed                 -    8 - 10 km/hr
  • Safety Devices  - backstay, stop block, drop Warwick, buffer, jazz rail, tub rerailer,
  • Combined stop block and run away switch, run away switch, man hole
  • Motor                 - slip ring motor used with drum controller
  • Breaks               - caliper break
  • Track gauge       - 0.6 m.

Direct Rope Haulage Advantages:-

  •  Layout और operation काफी simple है । 
  •  High speed 
  •  Single track की आवश्यकता है 
  •  Curve और branches से ज्यादा problem नहीं है । 
  •  ज़्यादा दूरी तक भी efficiency  के साथ काम कर सकता है । 

Direct Rope Haulage Disadvantages:-

  • Haulage ऊपर लेते हुए काफी high power की आवश्यकता होती है । 
  • Strong break system needed 
  • कम gradient वाले रास्ते के लिए अनुपयोगी  
  • High supervision needed 
  • High speed के कारण पुर्जे और बेल्ट काफी घिस जाते है । 

2. Double Drum Direct Rope Haulage:-

इसमे 2 haulage drum होते हैं, इसमे से 1 drum mineral loaded tubs  को ऊपर की और खींचता है और 
उसी समय दूसरा drum खाली tubs को नीचे की और उतारता है। दोनों drum में clutch फिट किए होते हैं । 
जिससे इनको control किया जाता है । और बाकी arrangements इसकी direct rope haulage की तरह ही है।
